Shirokuro dining room — wide view of white banquettes and illustrated-line walls

About

Two traditions, one room.

Our story

A living, breathing sketchbook.

At Shirokuro, we didn’t just want to create a traditional Japanese omakase restaurant. Our vision was to offer something unique: a place where art and food intersect in a living, breathing sketchbook.

Every line on the walls is hand-drawn. We chose not to use wallpaper or printed graphics, but instead hand-drew every single line. The room itself is the artwork — and when you sit down, you become part of it.

The kitchen follows the same principle: quiet materials, careful hands, nothing louder than it needs to be. Seasonal fish, a short list of chef-selected nigiri, a handful of plates that borrow gently from Korean tradition. The menu changes with what the market gives us.

Shirokuro — 白黒 — means black and white. A color, and a way of thinking.

“The room itself is the artwork.”
